AUDIO : The Cartel’s Whirlwind: Affinities between the Cartel and Lacanian Psychoanalysis”, by Frank Rollier (Extract)
This extract is taken from a talk given by Frank Rollier as part of the morning session of a Study Day and Knotting Seminar towards the next NLS Congress”. The morning session was entitled: “About the Cartel: Formation Effects and the Work of the School”. In his paper, “The Cartel’s Whirlwind: Affinities between the Cartel and Lacanian Psychoanalysis”, Frank Rollier discussed important elements of the cartel, while explicitly linking it to the theme of the next Congress, thereby creating a bridge to the afternoon Knotting Seminar “About the Unconscious”, with its keynote address by Lilia Mahjoub. The morning session also contained contributions from two London Society members, who gave an account of their own experience of working in a cartel and the role it played in their continuing formation as analysts.
